Dry wood sawdust – The classical plant
Low-moisture (less than 14%) sawdust, collected in a silo or tank, is conveyed by a conveyor screw or belt, or by a power extractor, to the briquette-maker's mini-silo/batcher. From here the press feed unit conveys the material to the compaction chamber inside which the piston, driven by a mechanical system, compresses the sawdust. This process gives rise to a high-quality briquette/log with a high specific weight without the addition of any binder. The briquette obtained in this way is guided inside a cooling channel to the automatic blade or saw cutting system.
